Yamaha FL300US — 300 HP
Yamaha FL300US is a four-stroke outboard motor rated at 300 HP (220,6 kW at the propeller shaft). Engine: 24-zaworowy, DOHC z VCT, 60° V6, displacement 4169 cm³, wtrysk paliwa. Dry weight: 288–299 kg.
A motor with integrated Yamaha DES digital electric steering: no pump or hydraulic hoses in the boat, a lighter installation, precise handling and ready for Helm Master EX with a joystick. Throttle and shift are digital (Drive-by-Wire). The model has electric start and power trim and tilt (PTT) — the motor angle is set with a button, even while underway.
Shaft length U (30″ / 762 mm). The shaft is matched to the boat’s transom height so that the anti-cavitation plate runs just below the water surface. Transom height for this shaft according to Yamaha: 767 mm.
A counter-rotating motor is paired with a standard-rotation one — in a twin installation it balances the torque and makes the boat easier to handle.
Fuel consumption at full power according to Yamaha: 96,6 L/h @5500 obr/min. The FL300US is within the power range the shipyard recommends for the GRAND G850, GRAND D950 Adventure, GRAND D950 Explorer, GRAND D950 Dive. At the GRAND BOATS Poland service centre in Łężyce near Gdynia we install the engine, do the rigging and choose the propeller. The engine is supplied in cooperation with an authorised Yamaha dealer; the manufacturer warranty (3 + 2 years) is carried out by an authorised Yamaha service.
